You'll just feel a pinch...

Memorable Shots

What's your most memorable scene from a movie? Do you remember what kind of shots the director used? High angle, extreme close-up, muted colors...the possiblities are endless.
You can post a photo of the scene, too. Maybe you'll get extra credit. :)
One of my favorite scenes is the one on the right from LA Story. They're standing on the side of the interstate and a traffic sign that normally says "Drive Carefully" changes just over the woman's head. The man (Steve Martin) is debating whether to kiss her. It's like the sign is giving him useful advice for once. I like the low angle & the fact that you can only see part of his head. It's a better shot than if it were just a close-up of her face.

my most memoralbe seen in a movie is from ferris buelers day off. I like the scene where he is on top of the float and you can see about 10,000 people screaming behind him.

my most memorable scene is probably from garden state when they are standing on a big ship yelling down into a giant cavern

What angles or shots are used in those scenes? Do you remember?

my most memorable shot is in Forrest Gump when Forrest looks at his son for the first time at the end. its an eye-level shot which lets the viewer analyze all of his facial expressions to see what he is really thinking.

my favorite scene in a movie was in bad boys II when will smith and martin lawrence are undercover klan members at the kkk meeting. they come out of their robes and they're surrounded by klan members and you can see the burning cross behind them, then they start shooting people

the most memorable scen is from the matrix when he dodges the bullets. it was a long shot from a 360 view. it was one of the first times anyone had done a scene like that

my most memorable scene is from billy madison when adam sandler is in the bathtub saying conditioner is better because it makes the hair silky and smooth! then shampoo and conditioner fight--it's the best

Let's start over. I said memorable SHOTS, not memorable SCENES. Like a particular slow motion shot that stuck in your mind, or a bird's eye, or low shot you remember.

Try again.

There was a shot in The Others where Nicole Kidman was looking out the window and she looked like a ghost, but we didnt know that she was a ghost yet, that stuck out to me alot.

In pirates 3 there is a really crazy wide long shot that shows the ships spinning around in a circle and i thought it was really crazy and cool how they showed it. It gave the fight alot of depth.

most memorable scene would have to be the scene in the matrix where he dodges the bullet because it was filmed using a 360 camera which was either rare or never been done..cant remember
