the mist
i saw the mist this weekend. id have to say that it is definatly one of the worst movies ive seen in a long time. its way too unrealistic and boring. its got stupid unrealistic creatures and the ending is really bad too. has anyone else seen it? if so, what do you think?

Suggestions! What movies do you think we should watch? (Be Serious)
I think we should watch 25th Hour! Not just because I really liked it but also because the shots angles and other things can be analyzed seriously.

You'll just feel a pinch...

Memorable Shots
What's your most memorable scene from a movie? Do you remember what kind of shots the director used? High angle, extreme close-up, muted colors...the possiblities are endless.
You can post a photo of the scene, too. Maybe you'll get extra credit. :)

One of my favorite scenes is the one on the right from LA Story. They're standing on the side of the interstate and a traffic sign that normally says "Drive Carefully" changes just over the woman's head. The man (Steve Martin) is debating whether to kiss her. It's like the sign is giving him useful advice for once. I like the low angle & the fact that you can only see part of his head. It's a better shot than if it were just a close-up of her face.
