Suggestions! What movies do you think we should watch? (Be Serious)

I think we should watch 25th Hour! Not just because I really liked it but also because the shots angles and other things can be analyzed seriously.

K-Ville

Extra credit for watching a whole episode & writing a review in this topic! If you want extra credit, don't just write one sentence like "It was cheezy." Tell us what made you think what you think.

"Double Indemnity" or "Dead Men Dont Wear Plaid"?

Which movie do you think is better and why?

Steve Martin

Have you seen any other movies with Steve Martin? One of my all-time favorites is L.A. Story. What do you think of his acting so far?

You'll just feel a pinch...

Memorable Shots

What's your most memorable scene from a movie? Do you remember what kind of shots the director used? High angle, extreme close-up, muted colors...the possiblities are endless.
You can post a photo of the scene, too. Maybe you'll get extra credit. :)
One of my favorite scenes is the one on the right from LA Story. They're standing on the side of the interstate and a traffic sign that normally says "Drive Carefully" changes just over the woman's head. The man (Steve Martin) is debating whether to kiss her. It's like the sign is giving him useful advice for once. I like the low angle & the fact that you can only see part of his head. It's a better shot than if it were just a close-up of her face.
